Theater Review: APT Cast In Top Comedic Form In 'The Critic'

By William R. Wineke
Special Channel 3000

Spring Green, Wisconsin - William Brown, director of the American theater's current production players, "The Critic", calls the game "the funniest play I've ever seen."

When I read that in the notes to the director, I was ready to be cooled. Set in London in 1790, the play by Richard Brinsley Sheridan, depicts some self-satisfied playwrights and commentators who, in the second act, see the repetition of a pretentious effort by one of them, a guy named "puff" (Jim DeVita) who makes his living as a journalist.

This is virtually the entire cast APT and invites them to be their hammiest. He had every opportunity to be a bit too.

However, after seeing the opening night performance, I agree with Brown. "The Critic" is hilarious and sold-out audience laughed almost non-stop for more than two hours.

The only place where everyone else laughed and I was not in the first act in which a trio of three Spanish sisters, Sarah Day, Tracy Michelle Arnold and Deborah Staples, came home theater benefactor of Dangle at the height of an act.The comedy was broad - but I really liked their voices and laughter drowned.

The act also featured a new actor APT, Nate Burger. The 2010 graduate of Loyola University dominated the scene for a few minutes and is certain to be a good addition to the repertory company APT this summer.

What wedding dress colour do you wear when you are not a virgin?

Wear the color you want. Remember, white can make a person light or fair skin look washed out. I'm blonde and blue-skinned, so I would choose a cream, champagne, off white, pale pink or pale blue. I never considered a white dress because of my fair coloring. If you have darker skin, the white will be fine.

You find a dress. Check the shops, bridal magazines, online stores and ask your friends who married last year or two. They may know a place that you have not watched yet.

One of my friends find a pale-colored coral that was on the grid reduction in a large bridal store (of course I forgot the name). It was a design that does not sell well and was marked down. David's Bridal always has good prices and the dresses are beautiful.

whatever color you want. But before deciding to try on white dresses white color to see how you look. There are many different shades of white as there are nuances in clolours others.I made wedding dresses in a variety of colors, one of the most attractive being a very pale pink to a lady who had a pale complexion and the rose was beautiful, she was beaming.
